Review & Description
The Asics Gel Kayano 17 is a new updated version of the classic and has been made even better for 2011. Asics had added a retooled asymmetrical lacing design for improved upper fit and a new midsole platform offering enhanced comfort. Asics has also added a Gudiance Line for enhanced gait efficiency. The GEL-Kayano 17 continues with a lighter platform that is almost one ounce lighter than the previous Kayano 15, by incorporating an innovative injection-molded Solyte midsole material. Other updates include a larger rear-foot Gel Cushioning System which delivers more of the incredible "ride" that has already become its legacy in running footwear. Also features Asics proprietary Impact Guidance System and a ComforDry sockliner.
