Vein Wear Sustained an Injury at Australian Fashion Week

Injury clothing by designer Eugene Leung from Sydney have been creating what they term experimental fashion since 2002. Their website theinjury.com.au says that the label began as creative collective of individuals from various non-fashion backgrounds in order to create their own flavour of different clothing.

I may be wrong here, but I think this is the first time they have shown at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week (RAFW). Of the parade, Fashion-Scoop wrote, "The galactic inspiration behind the collection from Injury at RAFW took menswear to an ethereal place. Dark, muted tones were given celestial accents in the form of metallic sequining and lurex fabrics. Soft taupe leather and blue velvet washed over the colour palette while a burst of red towards the end of the show gave the range a punch. The range was rugged and masculine but steered away from the casual street feel in favour of a purposefully styled aesthetic." (... you can also see the parade video at Fashion-Scoop.)

I was introduced to the label through our shared PR agency and Eugene used our Speed Stripe Zip Ankle Boot in Patent Black Leather for the parade. To get a pair for yourself, click here.
