Introducing to you today, Marsu Homme. It's an Australian designer men's shoe label based in Sydney.
The shoes you see are the "Alfred in Louvre Red Fox". The shoes sport a clean and classic Oxford wingtip design in a blood red colour. Most of the shoes in this, the first collection from designer Chrissy Hammond, follow along the lines of clean classics. A slim sole and minimal rand make them perfect for the understated modern fashionista.
What you might find particularly interesting about the collection is that they are made from kangaroo leather with unique hand finishes. I am guessing that's where the name Marsu came from...Marsupials.
The label has quite an international feel. Australian designer, French name and made in Italy. You can pick up a pair in Sydney only at the moment for between AU$400 to AU$699.
