Ben Sherman Sheratan Boot

Ben Sherman Sheratan Boot

Ben Sherman, the Mod God has created a beautiful suede and leather combination boot for this season's festivities. Or should I say, the company that bears his name has created them. Alfred Benjamin Sugarman (who later changed his name to Ben Sherman) died in 1987, aged 62.

The fashion label he created was adopted by children of the Mod movement. The Mod movement was about everything a teenager wanted to be - stylish, smart, tough, street-wise, good-looking and popular.

The boot is a nice take on a classic wing-tip design and bears the recognisable Union Jack button. It is leather lined with a combination rubber and leather outsole. Wear these boots while listening to Small Faces, the Who or the Beatles. Live baby live! It's the 60's revolution.

You can check out the Ben Sherman range at www.bensherman.com - quite a cool site :)
